How do you keep your acrylics firm? Sometimes I have to add sculpting compound to get more body. I use the chroma Atelier Interactive...they are resoluble. I've used board, I like 300lb w/c paper better, but like canvas because of the feel or "give" when the brush touches the stretched canvas. Of course, each has it's pros and cons.Pat Koscienskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08336904454074569104noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6673304386453974811.post-12945064136564643402010-11-19T23:17:07.117-05:002010-11-19T23:17:07.117-05:00Thanks, Sam. Like eating hard shell crab, though, I have to be in the right frame of mind to do all of that work and put up with that picking to get to that good part. Maybe that's why it tastes so good...the work is in direct portion to the taste. Do you dilute your acrylics? I've never used canvas. I paint on acrylic paper or hardboard, and use my paints straight from the tube, so I have rather a rough finish, (which helps me loosen up a bit as at heart I'm very meticulous!)Jennihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00237533864021387739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6673304386453974811.post-54498947580941072452010-11-19T03:50:32.327-05:002010-11-19T03:50:32.327-05:00Love it!
