Willow Park - Acrylic Representational Impressionistic Plein Air Landscape by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Willow Park
12" x 6"
Acrylic on canvas
SOLD
This painting was started plein aire in Willow Park, Camp Hill, PA and finished in the studio from a reference photo that I took at that time. There wasn't much sun, so when it did peak its head, I snapped quickly and was able to catch the only 2 seconds of sun that shined that day. This painting will be showing at Art & Soul Gallery on Friday where I will be demonstrating some of the techniques of plein aire painting. If in the area, drop in and say HI and look around the gallery. It is located on the 2nd floor of the West Shore Farmer's Market at 900 Market Street in Lemoyne, PA. I will be there approximately from 10:00 to 2:00. If you have any questions or wish to purchase this painting, contact Pat at patsfineart@hotmail.com or stop in to Art & Soul Gallery. 7. Pat, I love the 2 seconds of sun and the composition. Beautiful!! You have inspired me to try the 12"x 6" canvas. I wish I lived closer so I could stop by for your demonstration.

  8. Thanks, Carol. I really like the 12x6 or 20x10 especially when you want to show the true height and power of a tree. They work well with 6x12 and 10x20 orientations also. But be aware, the frames are not standard, nor are the prices for having to be "custom made"...LOL
