5" x 7"
Acrylic on canvas
This painting was inspired by a small trickle of water that flowed down the brook that fed into Nanty-Glo, PA's reservoir. The beautiful colors from the mosses, leaves, and water were moving. great work...........
This is so pretty, Pat! I love when I see just such sights as this when out enjoying nature. I love the vared leaf colors and knew right away what this was...Stunning work!
Thank you, Tatiana. Congratulations again on the acceptance of your painting "Iris Garden" by the International Artist Magazine as one of 10 finalists. I am looking forward to seeing it in the April/May 2011 edition.
Thank you, Rajasekharan.
Thank you, Autumn. It was so small and could have been easy to walk by and pass over, but the movement and colors stopped me.

Beautiful colors Pat! You are really good with the palette knife!
Thanks, Carol. I wish I would have the confidence to use it more often. I really like the outcomes.
Pat, I just commented on this on the DPP blog, and here I am again - mesmerized by this wonderful painting. I have to say that this is a piece of painting genius. Truly wonderful work.
