Acrylic on board
Palette Knife
This painting was done using a photograph I had taken when painting on a farm off Wertzville Road in Mechanicsburg, PA. There was a large man-made pond on the farm, but this little pool of water was so much more natural and appealing. I used palette knife and sculpting medium for this painting. ReplyDeleteYou have so captured the beauty of my favorite time of year, Pat. Truly a stunning landscape. I wish I could paint half this well!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH!, Pat! This is really beautiful...such rich colors and love the little pond! Love it.
ReplyDeleteThe colors in this are so gorgeous - I really like the shadows that are cast around the pond and down the bank. Just a beautiful painting!
