"Coffee Time"
8" x 10"
Acrylic on stretched canvas
This painting was done from a photo Lela Stankovic posted for the Paint and Draw Together Blogspot Challenge. I liked the chiaroscuro challenge of it. Chiaroscuro is derived from the the latin words, chiaro meaning light and scuro meaning dark. It provides such a dramatic effect. Of course Rembrandt was the master of this technique, along with Caravaggio...if only I could channel them. If you have any questions, or wish to purchase, contact PAT.
