This painting was inspired when painting plein air at Yellow Creek State Park in Indiana, PA... not far from my home town of Nanty-Glo. This field was beaming golds and yellows from the sun, but the mist still hung low over the water. What a gorgeous painting, Pat! It has such an incredible moodiness and wonderful sense of light. I like this one a LOT!
I love the mood the sky creates in this. Nice composition with the road carrying your eye to the waters edge. Beautiful job!
