This painting was done for Lela Stankovic's challenge on Paint and Draw Together Blogspot. It was quite a challenge using just the knife. I used a sculpting compound in my acrylic paint in an attempt to get some of the texture of the kiwi and the juiciness of the flesh. What a gorgeous green! These look so juicy and so yummy, Pat. Beautifully done.
I love kiwi, and your painting is why - it is such a pretty color, and so juicy and delicious. Great painting, Pa - and with a palette knife!!! I am totally impressed.
A beautiful green, and I like the way you arranged the kiwi,Pat!
You aced this challenge, Pat! Beautifully painted..love the greens and dark background.
Thank you for all your visits and comments. I really appreciate it.
I just love this Pat. You are one of the best!
I think even though it was a challenge to use just the knife, it looks like it was worth it, if you agree?
Thanks, Igloo for your visit and comment. I had an instructor who said people like to see the struggle that goes into a painting. Maybe that "struggle" helped. lol
This painting just sings!Beautiful color and so inviting!
