"59 Dargon Rd., Belfast, Northern Ireland" by Pat Koscienski

"59 Dargon Rd., Belfast, Northern Ireland"
8" x 10"
Acrylic
This painting was done for Bill Duffey's Virtual Paintout. We painted this month in Belfast, Northern Ireland. I think the yellow flowers in the photo is what really caught my eye. The mountain in the back almost reminds me of the ridge at Fort Hunter, Harrisburg, PA, especially the way the mist is hanging near the top. What a beautiful, verdant painting, Pat! Another reason why I long to live in Ireland. This looks as though you painted plein aire! Great job!

Thanks, Autumn, this site takes me to places I know I will never visit. The photo, though, is a little more vibrant than the paintng, itself.
