Hi Pat. Received your Moose and will post it tomorrow. great job. Great blog.
My favorite of this series of Gary's challenge paintings, Pat. I love the job you did here and can almost feeling the sun and mist myself...Just beautiful!
Thanks, Gary. Really enjoy your blogspot and challenges.
Thanks, Autumn, I was shivering a little also. I put some burn sienna in the grasses to try to "warm" it a bit.LOL
A fine job, Pat! Love the intensity of your palette.
Thanks, Dean. I like your entry, also.
I have to say that your painting was my favorite of all those done for this month's Wilderness Art Challenge. The backlighting is done so skillfully, and you have created such a wonderful sense of muscularity and movement in the moose. VERY well done, Pat!
Pat, Great job on this challenge! Love the backlighting and the frosted grasses! I know this one was fun!
You finished this painting beautifully -- love the backlighting on the moose and how your grasses are glowing with the sun. You've captured the "atmosphere" of color nicely.
Claire, Rosemary, & Lyn....thanks so much for your wonderful comments and for your visits.
You rose to the challenge - the back-lighting is beautiful. I have been following a few of the monthly challenges and have noticed your paintings. I will be attempting my hand at painting soon and watercolor & acrylics are my paints of choice. I will be looking to your blog a lot for "guidance" I think.
Thanks, Margaret for your wonderful comments. You are welcome back to my artblog for guidance as many times as you need. That is how we all learned.
