Abstracted Pears - Original Acrylic Impresessionistic Abstract Contemporary Pears by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Abstracted Pears
8" x 10"
Acrylic on Canvas

Abstracted Pears was painted from a photo posted on Lela Stankovic's Challenge Paint and Draw Together. It was never completed in time for the posting, but I used it as a warm-up for her next challenge. Still working on that one! Hopefully, I will have that done before the due date. If you have any questions or wish to purchase, contact Pat at patsfineart@hotmail.com If you want to see more of my paintings, visit my website at:

Beautiful rendition of the pear challenge, Pat. Love the rich color, and am especially impressed with the way you got the shape and foreshortening of the pear on the right.
Magnificent!

Pat, these are fabulous! I love the color... so full of life... shadows and lost edges too.

Thanks, everyone. These were a lot of fun to paint.

Thank you for your kind, encouraging words regarding my artwork. I have rarely touched paints but do gravitate towards watercolor and acrylic. My attitude after drawing a subject is "Oh, now I get to ruin it with paint!" Well, I will be relying heavily on the art blogs I follow for learning - and yours will be one of them. By the way, these pears are beautiful.
