Backyard Mushrooms - original impressionistic ACEO painting by Pennsylvania Painter Pat Koscienski

Backyard Mushrooms
2.5" x 3.5"
ACEO
Acrylic

I found these mushrooms growing in the backyard and decided to paint them. I have been trying to post this for several weeks. However, everytime I tried to insert my "horizontal"  photo it was posted in the vertical position. I finally edited the photo, rotated it to the vertical position and when I posted it, it posted in the horizontal position where it needed to be. If anyone else has had this problem and knows the solution, please let me know.  My method obviously worked, but is very time consuming. If you have any questions, or wish to purchase, please contact PAT. If you wish to see more of my paintings, please visit my website at:

Tomatoes and Mushrooms - Acrylic Impressionistic Still Life by Pennsylvania Painter Pat Koscienski

"Tomatoes and Mushrooms"
8" x 10"
Acrylic on canvas

This painting was done for the DPP Challenge for the month of September.  September is National Mushroom Month and Pennsylvania is the leader in the production of mushrooms.  These were white button mushrooms, but look more like baby bellas in my painting.  I, also, went out in the woods photographing some of mother nature's mushrooms.  Hopefully I will get a few of those painted.  If you have any questions or wish to purchase, contact PAT.  If you want to see more of my paintings, both representational and abstract, please visit my website at:
