Nectarines and Champagne - Acrylic Impressionistic Still Life Painting on Canvas by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Nectarines and Champagne
12" x 12"
Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Deep Canvas
Nectarines and Champagne was painted for Lela Stankovic's challenge on her paint and draw together blogspot. A wonderful photograph is posted to paint from. I didn't make much change, other than to leave out some shadows from her blinds and I punched up the colors. It was a challenging challenge! Pat, this is beautiful! I love the detail and the warmth of the painting. The glass is amazing. Looks like I can just pick it up and take a sip.

Thanks, Carol. I wonder if our day will come when we paint a truly perfect painting??? I haven't signed my name just yet on this one.

What an amazingly beautiful champagne flute! You've done this piece so well, Pat. So rich!!

Thanks, Autumn. I'm a low key painter, and lean to the cool side, so this is probably one of my warmest pieces. That's probably what attracted me most to the photo that Lela posted.

Fabulous - the painting of that champagne glass is excellent! Those reds and oranges are so difficult - for me anyway - I just love what you've pulled off here.

Thank you, Anne, I'm glad you like it.
