Poppy Peonies - Original Acrylic Impressionistic Floral Plein Aire Painting by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Poppy Peonies
8" x 10"
Acrylic on Canvas

Poppy Peonies was painted at Katie's Stoney Creek Irises in Dauphin, Pennsylvania. Several plein air artists went to visit and paint in Katie's beautiful gardens. Irises, flowers of all kinds, gardens, sheds, roosters, chickens, turkeys....all make for ideal subject matter. Across the road is Stoney Creek which is a well know PA trout fishing area. Can't wait to get back there this year. If interested in purchasing, contact Pat at patsfineart@hotmail.com If interested in viewing more of my work, visit my website:

Just a beautiful breath of fresh air today, Pat, both here and on Daily Painters of PA. I love this piece...there is something so traditional and comforting about this composition and subject to me...Maybe reminds me of my grandma...

Beautiful... I agree with Autumn it does remind me of my grandma. She was always in her flower garden. Thanks for sparking a beautiful memory.

Your welcome, Carol, just wish I could do that more often.
