Wildwood's Sentinel - Acrylic Impressionistic Waterfowl Landscape Wetlands Painting by Pennsylvania Painter Pat Koscienski

Wildwood's Sentinel
11" x 14"
Acrylic on canvas

This painting was done from a photo I had taken of a green heron at Wildwood Wetlands Park off Industrial Road in Harrisburg, PA. The morning glow from the pink, warm sky reflected off the lotus & lily pads as he was looking for his breakfast. If interested in purchasing this painting, contact PAT. Such gorgeous greens and a beautiful scene. I can see why the heron landed here. Hope you are feeling better and better, Pat. If there is ever anything I can do, do let me know, ok?

Lovely reflections! Looks like you can reach out and touch the water. Hope you are feeling better everyday!

This is an absolutely beautiful painting, Pat. I love the way the light hits the lotus leaves - gorgeous! What an idyllic setting for your lovely heron.
Did you know that I had five juvenile green herons in my backyard this summer - what an experience! They were there on two different days, and chose the hottest days of the summer.
I got some photographs - I think they were to hot to fly off!
