Absolutely love the format, Pat. This is so stunning and I love the reflections of blue in the path. The sunlight on the grounds are magnificently handled!

What a beautiful painting, Pat! Your use of the colors is fascinating, and the sunlight at the far end draws you through this wonderful scene. Best wishes on your exhibit!

Sherry, thank you so much for your comments. I used "broken color" in this painting. I like the effect I got, and should be trying to use it more often.

Sunny, thank you. Corot used to use that technique of darkening the foreground to draw the eye into the middle ground. I should do it more often, but you know how the scene or subject sometimes dictates the approach. LOL
