I was inspired to paint this from a photograph posted on A Day Not Wasted Challenge blog by photographer Lee A. Brown. It will be on exhibit in my studio at 2nd Floor Gallery, 105 S. Market St., Mechanicsburg, Pa. I will have about 20 paintings on exhibit in my studio and the gallery. There is an open reception on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 6-9pm. This is beautiful, Pat. I had to look to see if you had done this one in oil as the colors are so rich and full of depth.
A wonderful painting - the colors are rich and provide beautiful light on the buildings and the water. Makes me want to be there!
Lovely complimentary palette and I really like the way you handled the texture on the building closest to us. Creating that railing could not have been an easy task! Great job and a beautiful painting! Best of luck with your show - sure wish I could see it!
