This painting was done for the challenge posted by Lela Stankovic on her Paint and Draw Together Blogspot. It was quite humbling trying to paint ala one of the great Masters. Other than the impressionists, Vermeer is one of my favorite artists. His ability to paint light... You have done a fantastic job with this, Pat. I think copying the painting of a Master is something every artist should do at least once in their lifetime!
