"Coy Koi" by Pat Koscienski

"Coy Koi"
5" x 7"
Acrylic on canvas
"Coy Koi" is one of my paintings that started off as a nonobjective abstract painting. My husband had just put in our pond so we were preoccupied with our Koi everyday. I think this intuitively came out in this painting. I usually put my abstracts on the http://www.dailypaintersabstract.blogspot.com/ , however, I see an almost representational painting in this one, so thought I would post this simultaneously on both blogspots. If you are interested in purchasing, contact me at patsfineart@hotmail.com and please stop and visit my website to see more of my representational and abstract works.

What a lovely Koi, Pat! Do you know I also started Koi pond painting (a while ago) in Oil pastel and can not take enough time to finish it?... Great subject for painting and you are done so well with it!

Thanks, Tatiana, I hope I motivate you to pull it back out to finish it. Your work is so lovely. When you finish it we will have to post them together on www.dailypaintersofpennsylvania.blogspot
