Mistress of the Sky - Original Abstract Acrylic Contemporary Modern Painting by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

SOLD
Mistress of the Sky
24" x 18"
Acrylic on Canvas

Mistress of the Sky was painted on a gallery wrapped canvas. The red in her gown makes for an eye catching piece from across the room. The topic speaks a lot. If interested in purchasing, contact Pat at patsfineart@hotmail.com If interested in viewing more of my paintings, visit my website at:

Gorgeous colors, as always, Pat. You have such a fine palette! I am reminded of that old commercial with the woman standing under a tree saying, "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature!" followed by crashing thunder! Well...I think this is much more peaceful, but that is the idea that pops into my head here. Love the flowers and trees especially.

Oh my Pat. I bet this is striking up close or as you said seen as you come into the room. Powerful!

Thanks, Autumn. It was almost like I got in everything I paint; landscape, figure, bird/animal; floral, and abstract. Now, I could have put a bolt of lightening in! LOL

Thanks, Sheila. I usually don't use that much red in a painting; but, it sure did kick it up a notch. LOL

Wow! Bold, rich and powerful. The color palette reminds me of that used by the old masters in Madonna paintings! This is a great piece to draw attention to your "space" on a wall or in a gallery!

I'm glad you like it, Rosemary. It does definitely draw the eye to it and can accent a room.
