Evening Skies & Fireflies - Acrylic Abstracted Contemporary Painting by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

Evening Skies & Fireflies
6" x 8"
Acrylic on Canvas
Evening Skies and Fireflies will be one of the paintings showing at the new Claire B. Carnell and Pat Koscienski Studio at Gallerie 13 in Mechanicsburg, PA. The monthly reception for Gallerie 13 is this Friday, June 4, from 6-9 pm. Brownyn Hughes will be the featured artist in the Gallerie. There is also a pet/animal exhibit by local artists. Claire and I put a new coat of paint on the walls of our new studio and have a lot of beautiful art work on display. We also have a shared exhibit "Flower Power" on the outer wall of our studio. If you get a chance, visit Claire's blogspot to see her beautiful paintings and 100 day challenge. If you are in the area, please stop in for the free wine & cheese exhibit. To see more of my paintings, both abstract and representational, please visit my website at:

What a gorgeous sky that reminds me of approaching storms! Good luck with your's and Claire's new endeavor, Pat. Considering the quality of your collective works, I suspect you will do well together!!

The fireflies were out in our yard full force last evening, and I thought of your painting, Pat! This is gorgeous.

Thank you, Autumn on your best wishes. We had a lot of people through and got a lot of positive feedback. We had a great time.

Thanks, Claire. I haven't seen any yet this year. After that ride home through that electrical storm, my next inspiration to paint will be "lightening", but not from lightening bugs.LOL
