This is an acrylic painting done with a palette knife on 300 lb watercolor paper using a photo taken when I painted at Kings Gap State Park, PA., this summer. It will be in the Kings Gap Exhibit in the Mansion on Sunday, Oct 3 from 12 to 5:00 during their Garden Harvest Festival. If in the area, stop by and visit. Thanks, Tatiana. This one was painted on untoned w/c paper. The paint drug off my knife so badly, that I had to mist my paint. I liked the effects and then misted the paper and got the background. Of course the flowers were layed in with thicker paint.
