Spring's Seduction - Acrylic Impressionistic Landscape Painting by Pennsylvania Painter Pat Koscienski

Spring's Seduction
8" x 10"
Acrylic
This painting was inspired by painting plein air near a small wetlands off Carlisle Pike, Camp Hill, PA.  Much work was done on it in the studio using my reference photos.  It was early spring when the buds on the trees were just starting to show their color.  If you have any questions or wish to purchase, contact PAT.  If you would like to see more of my paintings, which include not only landscape, but still life, figure, portrait, pets, wildlife, abstract, and miniatures, please visit my blogspot at:

This is such a gorgeous landscape, Pat. I know you said this was from a reference in the spring but the gorgeous colors in the budding leaves remind me of my favorite season, the autumn. Brings a smile just gazing on this beauty.

Thanks, Sherry. When I asked an instructor, once, what he had just painted...he asked me what "I" saw. I told him and he then said, "That's what it is". If you see autumn, then that is what it is. I should be more careful when titling my art pieces, and thus not lead the viewer. lolol

Before my brother-in-law moved to Mechanicsville, he lived in Camp Hill. This is so beautiful, Pat! Love the colors in the water!!

Thanks, Hilda. Before I moved to the Camp Hill area, I lived in New York....the N. Tarrytown/Ossining area. That was a loooong time ago. lol I saw on your blog that you were at the Carlisle car show. I paint and exhibit in Carlisle, also...only 25 miles from my house. Also, saw you met some of my DPP friends at the NYC exhibit. Small world!

This is beautiful Pat! I love how your eye is taken right into the painting with the stream. You did such a wonderful job with the trees!

This is gorgeous! I love how the stream twists and turns to the horizon and takes your gaze right with it.
