Waldo - miniature acrylic frog painting by Pennsylvania Painter Pat Koscienski

"Waldo"
6" x 6"
Acrylic

This painting was done for the Mechanicsburg Art Center's Miniature Exhibit.  MAC is located at 18 Artcraft Drive in Mechanicsburg, PA.  The exhibit will be hanging until Nov. 21, 2012, so if you are in the area please stop in to see it.  The exhibit has 90 miniatures from local artists...4  are mine.  By the way, he got this name because when my husband and I would sit up by the pond, we would ask, "Where's Waldo?"  He was either sitting on a lily pad or hiding in one of the grasses we have in the pond.  Sometimes it would take us quite a while to find him; he was quite good with the camouflage.  If you have any questions, or wish to purchase, contact PAT.   If you would like to see more of my paintings from  miniatures, landscapes, figurative, portraits, wildlife, abstract.....please visit my website at:

He is beautiful, Pat. I love the colors especially and I love how up close he is.

These colors really look more intense on my blog than the actual painting, Sherry. Once again, I will complain about the difficulty I have photographing my artwork lol.

I have a pond too; but not one Waldo has ever stopped by to take up residence. I guess I'm not in the country far enough for them. The colors are great. Lucky you for having a Waldo.

Oh Pat! He is adorable - looks like he's going to hop out of the monitor and onto my shoulder and he's welcome to do so! What a fun painting - wish I could see the show!

Love Waldo!!! What a wonderful little painting. I am sure he will put smiles on faces at the show, and then hop home with someone. :)

What a gorgeous creature. His big staring eyes and his adorable splaued feet make him a very lovable keepsake.
