Blue Spruce and Winter Snow - acrylic palette knife painting by Pennsylvania Artist Pat Koscienski

Blue Spruce and Winter Snow
14" x 11"
Acrylic on canvas

This is one of the 4 winter scenes that I was inspired to paint because of the heavy snows that we got.  Looking through my very large morgue I was able to come up with many years of heavy snow references.  And, believe me, there were many.  This painting was done mainly with a palette knife.   If you have any questions or wish to purchase, contact PAT.  If you would like to see more of my paintings, please visit my website at:

I find this piece truly beautiful, Pat. The light is just amazing. This is why I will always prefer winter to summer.

Thanks, Sherry. I do enjoy the snow, also, when I don't have to drive in it.

The way you work is light is completely commendable.
