Winter's Snowy Lane - acrylic impressionistic palette knife landscape painting by Pennsylvania Contemporary Artist Pat Koscienski

SOLD
Winter's Snowy Lane
11" x 14"
Acrylic on canvas

I overlooked posting this painting from my winter series on my blogspot.  I really wanted it included because there are clients and buyers who appreciate winter painting all year long and not just in the winter.  That it sold, is proof of that.  It is one of the 4 winter scenes that I was inspired to paint because of the heavy snows that we got this past winter.  This is the lane that goes up to our neighbors' house and property. However, if you make a right hand turn after approximately the 4th tree, you would end up in our parking pad.   This painting was done mainly with a palette knife.  If you would like to see more of my paintings, both representational and abstract, please visit my website at:

How stunning, Pat. I'm one of those who love winter scenes. Couple it with trees and I'm over the moon! This is just gorgeous and I was picturing a sleigh down that lane...

Thanks, Sherry. The original owners at the top of the hill used to go to Florida during the winter months, so a lot of sledding and tobagganing took place on this lane.

Congratulations on the sale of this beautiful Winter scene, Pat! I love the texture on that path - looks like people have been having a wonderful time sledding.

This is amazing, Pat. You can see the texture in the snow by using that palette knife! This is a beautiful piece and I can see why it sold! Congratulations.!

Thanks, Hilda. I love doing snow scenes, especially with the palette knife.
