Kreative Blogger Award

I want to thank both Claire B. Carnell and Lyn O'Neal, two wonderful artists and bloggers, for awarding me this honor. I will be passing this award on to 7 other deserving artists/bloggers that I have found talented, creative, and supportive. Please check out Claire and Lyn's blogspots, along with these newly selected artist's sites.
7 things about me:
1. I thank God for my talent and hope my 2nd career will be successful because of it.
2. I love painting plein air and from life, as much as painting abstract.
3. I love my family, husband, son, and grandson.
4. I love my artist friends and the art community.
5. I love Pennsylvania.
6. I love teaching and sharing.
7. I love our new pond and stream.
The seven artists I have selected are:
Margie Whittington for wonderful paintings, abstract and representational
Gwen Bell for her striking still lifes
Leslie Hawes for her faithful daily drawings that she give us every day
Rosemary Sexton for her oil portraits and wonderful southwestern pieces
Marie Kovalenko Leysens for her colorful and vibrant watercolors
Carolee Clark for her beautiful abstracted figures and animals
Autumn Leaves for her ability to live and paint to "the beat of a different drum"
You can visit these blogspots by clicking on their names and paintings listed under My Blog List

Thank you so much Pat. (I cannot remember if I commented earlier; if so, please delete this one.) I guess marching to a different beat is probably my best talent! Cannot wait to see what is next on your easel!

Leslie, You have a good start on your "drawing a day" journey. Keep up the good work!

Margie, it's nice to know that someone else does both representational and abstract. I see the influence of each in your paintings.

Autumn, I can't wait to see more of yours, also. I like "different", that's what makes art special.
