"Morning Mist" by Pat Koscienski

"Morning Mist"
Oil on Linen Canvas
14" x 18"
"Morning Mist" was painted plein air at Wildwood Wetland's Park, on Industrial Road, Harrisburg, PA It was done on the north end of the lake, and looking more northward. A lot of mist that early morning, giving an almost ethereal background. It is an oil painting done on a linen canvas. This is so beautiful, Pat! I love the morning mists that you've so gracefully captured. I can imagine the birds waking and beginning their morning songs, the fish beginning their search for bugs on the surface of the pond...So pretty, and yes, ethereal too!

Thanks, Autumn, a lot of that comes from painting outdoors. I'm so glad I have the opportunity to do that.

I also love the ethereal nature of this painting. The distant softness is captured perfectly. Just beautiful.

Thanks, Claire, it's nice "when a plan comes together" doesn't always.
