SOLD

"Struttin' Your Stuff" is a mixed media of acrylic, ink, and gel medium on canvas. Katie's rooster from the Stoney Creek Iris Farm in Dauphin, Pa was glad to be my model. Of course, this was done in my studio with the use of a photo. Look at those gorgeous blues!! Another fine work, Pat. I don't think you've done a single piece that I haven't loved, however. You always amaze me!

The photo doesn't show it, but there is a lot of clear, thick glaze over this fellow, which really adds to the texture. But he sure was proud of his position in that hen house and struttin' his stuff.

Oh my goodness - he is a handsome fellow! No wonder he's struttin' Like Sherry, I think the blues really sing. Wish we could better see the effect of the think glaze. Very, very nice.

Thanks, Rosemary. The thick string/tar gel gives him a little more body....like he needs it. Stayin' warm in Fla? Too much snow up here for me...close to 30" if not more LOL.
