This painting was done using a photograph I had taken when painting on a farm off Wertzville Road in Mechanicsburg, PA. There was a large man-made pond on the farm, but this little pool of water was so much more natural and appealing. I used palette knife and sculpting medium for this painting. OH MY GOSH!, Pat! This is really beautiful...such rich colors and love the little pond! Love it.
The colors in this are so gorgeous - I really like the shadows that are cast around the pond and down the bank. Just a beautiful painting!
