Golden Haze - Acrylic Nonobjective Abstract by Pennsylvania Daily Painter Pat Koscienski

" Golden Haze"
24" x 49"
Acrylic on canvas

Golden Haze is a painting that I have posted before. However, there are 3 receptions today; I have posted the one "Winery by the Woods" Soiree being held at Hunters Valley Winery today from 5 -8:00 pm in Liverpool, PA. The Golden Haze painting will be showing at the Art & Soul Gallery at the West Shore Farmer's Market in Lemoyne, PA for the month of August. Some interesting or maybe amusing facts about this painting is that it was rejected twice by the York Art Association. Once, because it was 1" too large to meet the requirements of the prospectus and once because it was too small....it needed to be 36" or larger on all sides, and of course despite the fact that it is 49" on the one side, it is still only 24" in height. A lesson to all to carefully read the prospectus. It did take an award at the Harrisburg Art Association last year, so I was happy for that. If in the area, stop by to see Lyn O'Neal the new owner of Art and Soul and have a fun time at the reception today from 11am to 2pm.
