This painting was done on site at Hunters Valley Winery in Liverpool, PA It will be one of the paintings I will have in the "Winery by the Woods" Soiree held by the winery to benefit the Art Association of Harrisburg. This event will be held on Saturday, August 7 from 5 pm to 8 pm. The Billies will perform on guitar, keyboard, percussion and vocals. 6 other artists, including Stephen Wetzel, Jon Tritt, Cathy Mabius, Madeline Reiley, Robert Hughes, and Ralph Hocker, will also be exhibiting their works. Tickets can be purchased at the winery for $35 or at the door for $40. Love your palette and how your eye is drawn into the background. Beautiful!! Good luck at the winery! Wish I could be there.

Thanks, Carol. Hunters Valley Winery has a new, large pavillion, so rain or shine, it should be a fun event.

Pat this is just truly stunning to me. I have always loved grape arbors (old family friends used to have one in their back yard) and think they are just simply a most beautiful subject for a painting. I've never been a fan of the taste of grapes (until they are transformed into jelly or wine, at least), but they always, always look so rich and scrumptious on the vine! This is gorgeous, my friend!
